Technology: The company was operating on in-house developed legacy applications before moving to 3.1H. It chose SAP 4.6C to consolidate its operations. The company choose Oracle as its database and production server from IBM Regatta - 16 CPU Machine with 32 GB RAM for its SAP implementation.

The organization is fully integrated, automobile manufacturer. Established in 1945 the company is today among the world's top 10 producers of commercial vehicles. The operations of the company are organized in the following business division:

  • Commercial Vehicles Business Unit
  • Passenger Car Business Unit
  • Vehicle Reconditioning and AMC
  • Non-Vehicular

The company manufactures the following products - Passenger cars, multi-utility vehicles, light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles for goods and passenger transport. The organization has the following entities:
