The Customer

A government body handling judicial processes like-Civil Case Management, Financial Accounting etc. The processes vary from tracking of information pertaining to civil disputes, case maintenance, case scheduling and inquiries and reports on case flow to civil escrow accounting.

The Challenge

The client was looking for a Judicial Information Management System (JIMS) aimed at providing a streamlined and efficient method for handling the government's judicial processes.

The Solution

Tata Infotech developed JIMS which includes Civil Case Management, Financial Accounting and Disbursement modules. JIMS was developed using MAPPER-C on the Unisys U6000-Series machine. The Unisys Designer Workbench (DW) was used to develop the Graphical User Interface for the application system. The DW provides a completely menu driven, easy to use interface for application screens.

• Easier tracking of information pertaining to the civil disputes, case maintenance and case scheduling and inquiries and reports on case flow through the system.
